Saint-Gobain Sells Swiss-Based Glass Fabrication Company

Saint-Gobain has sold its Swiss glass processing business, Glassolutions, to AEQUITA, a privately-owned German group.

Glassolutions generated around $27 million* in 2022, say Saint-Gobain officials. The company employs approximately 70 people at its production site in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland.

The sale is expected to close by the end of May 2023. The move aligns with Saint-Gobain’s business profile optimization strategy. In 2019, Saint-Gobain divested in Glassolutions Norway and Sweden. It sold the regional glass businesses to Mimir Invest AB, a Swedish investment firm.
