Tvitec Glass has been recognized for its glazing of L’Oréal Spain’s new headquarters in Madrid. The Spain-based glass manufacturer was bestowed the Isolar Award by Isolar Glas for the Representative Project of the Year. The award was shared with architectural firm Fenwick Iribarren and façade specialist Martife.
L’Oréal’s new headquarters comprise more than 53,819 square feet of eco-efficient glass. According to a statement, Tvitec provided double glazing for most of the building’s envelopes and supplied safety glass, including laminated glass. The building earned LEED Platinum and WELL certifications.
The Isolar Awards were announced at the organization’s annual convention held in Potsdam, Germany.
