Zak World of Facades Returns to New York

Zak World of Façades, an international conference series on façade design and engineering, will occur on October 11 at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers in New York. The day-long event will include discussions and presentations on sustainable innovations and challenges in the construction industry pertaining to the building envelope.

Several sessions will focus on using glass and glazing in the façade. These include, among others, “Glass without Guilt,” led by Gary Handel of Handel Architects, and “Using Glass to Reduce Embodied and Operational Carbon,” led by Andre Kenstowicz from Vitro Architectural Products.

The event also provides architects with up to eight AIA LU/HSW credits.

This one-day conference has attracted more than 30,000 delegates across its 130 completed editions. Additional information and registration are available on the event website.
