ClearVue Technologies Limited has signed a five-year agreement with 8G Solutions to distribute solar vision glass across Colorado, Missouri, Kansas and Arizona.
ClearVue CEO Martin Deil says due to government incentives for sustainable building solutions, the company feels comfortable expanding its U.S. footprint by appointing 8G Solutions as a new distributor.
“Government incentives are enabling the construction and building sectors to become environmentally sustainable,” says Deil. “Our solar glazing technology not only helps companies take advantage of these incentives but provides them with real solutions to meet current and incoming strict sustainability regulations via an improved thermal performance of windows, which reduces heating and cooling energy demands and costs, and by providing clean energy onsite.”
8G CEO and non-executive director Chuck Mowrey adds the Inflation Reduction Act makes widespread adoption of the ClearVue product and technology into new U.S. building opportunities and even retrofit upgrades a “no-brainer” for customers looking for financial and carbon benefits.
8G Solutions is a U.S. glazing company focused on curtainwalls, window walls, storefronts, entrances, and windows, among other systems. The five-year agreement is subject to performance criteria.
