Winco Manufacturing Co., a St. Louis-based, family-owned manufacturer of heavy commercial doors and windows, was recognized for 50 years of continuous membership with the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) at its 78th Annual Conference Awards Banquet earlier this year.

“We’ve been members of the AAMA right from the start, and it’s an honor to accept this prestigious award,” says Gantt Miller, chairman of Winco. “Our company is a recognized leader and innovator in the high performance window glazing industry, and much of our service extends coast-to-coast thanks in part to our many connections through the AAMA.”

Winco is celebrating its 100-year anniversary this year and is a charter member of AAMA.

“Since joining AAMA in March of 1964, Winco has been committed to improving and verifying window and door product performance,” says Rich Walker, AAMA president and CEO. “Gantt Miller served as board chairman from 2007 to 2008, and as an ex-officio member, he rarely misses a board meeting, where he provides sound strategic and financial guidance during important board deliberations.”
