Anders Dahlblom

Glaston Corp.’s board of directors has appointed Anders Dahlblom as its president and CEO. Dahlblom joins Glaston from Owens Corning where he has been working as vice president and managing director of the European insulation business unit since 2019. Prior to this position he has held the positions of managing director and CFO at Paroc Group, which was acquired by Owens Corning in 2018.

According to a statement, the board of directors conducted a thorough recruitment process involving several candidates with different backgrounds.

“Anders convinced us with his strong track record in the process industry and his almost 20 years of experience in international business. I am very pleased to welcome Anders as Glaston’s new president and CEO, and I am convinced that he is the right person to lead Glaston towards the next level of profitable growth,” says board chairperson Teuvo Salminen.

“I am honored to be appointed president and CEO of Glaston Corp. The company is an inspiring technology leader in its field with 150 years of history, and I see strong future potential in its innovative solutions. With its unique position in its markets, Glaston is well positioned to contribute to future sustainable built environments. I am excited about joining and taking the company further on its strategic path. I look forward to getting to know all the Glaston people, the company and the customers,” says Dahlblom.

Dahlblom will assume his new position in February 2021. Sasu Koivumäki has been serving as the company’s acting CEO since June 2020 and will continue in this role until Dahlblom steps into the role. At that time Koivumäki will continue in his position as COO, head of sales and integration, deputy to the CEO and member of the executive management group.
