Architectural Testing’s Kent, Wash. laboratory has been accredited by the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) to perform thermal tests in accordance with NFRC 102, which specifies the methods used for determining the thermal transmittance of door and window products.  The recently added thermal testing capability in the northwest adds to ATI’s existing network of laboratories for a total of four thermal test facilities nationwide, according to a company release.

The milestone represents ATI’s second thermal test chamber positioned in the Pacific time zone along with its laboratory in Fresno, Calif.  Additional chambers are also located in St. Paul, Minn. and York, Pa.
