Assa Abloy Group door brands have released several Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), which provide a comprehensive list of components and potential environmental impacts throughout the product’s life cycle.

The company’s 14 EPDs cover a range of products under its Ceco Door, Curries Fleming and Frameworks brands.

Stacey Callahan, vice president of marketing and innovation, says Assa Abloy Group’s door brands “fully support the trend toward transparency” and that the company is working on EPDs for 10 additional products, which it hopes are completed by the end of 2015.

“Understanding a product’s impact on the environment helps us to make better decisions about materials and manufacturing,” says Callahan. “This ensures the best outcomes for our customers and their building projects.”
