Bendheim’s 5,400-plus square feet of glass and attachment system enclose the Mueller commercial office and district garage in Austin.

A new commercial office and garage in Austin, Texas, feature more than 5,000 square feet of compression-clipped glass. The project is part of the Mueller Business District. The six-story office is a 210,400-square-foot cast-in-place building, while the garage’s façade is cantilevered with custom fiberglass planters and wood.

Bendheim provided 5,400 square feet of laminated glass for the project. A compression-clipped glass parking façade system designed and engineered with Glas Längle holds the glass in place. Dynamic Glass supplied and installed the glass and aluminum panels.

According to Bendheim officials, the company’s ventilated glass parking facades help lower operating costs and preserve natural daylight.
