Donald Jayson has been named president of Bendheim. He assumed the role following a stint as senior vice president, where he was responsible for overseeing production and major projects.

Jayson, a Bendheim co-owner, takes over for Ben Jayson. Company officials say Ben will become independent yet continue a “cooperative relationship” with the family firm.

“I am extremely proud of Bendheim’s heritage and our contributions to award-winning architecture worldwide,” says Donald. “We look forward to developing glass solutions for designers and enhancing the beauty of built environments for many years to come.”

Donald is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University. Officials say he is well-versed in specialty glass manufacturing, architectural glass applications and has a deep knowledge of domestic and international glass industries.
