The Energy Department announced last week that more than 20 new partners have joined the Better Building Challenge, committing to improve energy efficiency across their respective building portfolios by 20 percent over the next ten years.

“The Better Buildings Challenge partners announced [last week] are demonstrating leadership in a variety of industries, bringing greater energy efficiency to American restaurants, data centers, multifamily housing developments and cities across the country,” says energy secretary Ernest Moniz. “Joining hundreds of other organizations, these new partners are taking action to save money by saving energy, while also cutting carbon pollution and creating jobs.”
