Enclos has announced new promotions within the firm’s sales, engineering, operations and administrative departments. One key executive change is the appointment of Bruce Bornhurst as president of the company.

Gregg Sage, president of Enclos’ parent company, CH Holdings USA Inc., had been acting president of Enclos since 2004. He is stepping down to focus on other CH Holdings business.

“Bruce’s broad experience and leadership contributions have been integral to Enclos’ success over the years,” says Sage. “His disciplined approach to sales and operational excellence ensure’s] best practices at every level.”

Bornhurst has been responsible for Enclos’ west coast sales and operations since 1985. In his new role as president, he will oversee the company’s strategic development, growth and profitability.

“Market change is accelerating,” says Bornhust. “We are currently completing a round of projects unprecedented in their novelty, complexity and the operational challenges they present. We are taking what we’ve learned from these projects and organizing in anticipation of the next wave of change. Strategic organizational adaptation has become an ongoing process.”

Steve Danke was named executive vice president of sales with national responsibility for the firm’s sales and pre-construction activities. Danke has been with Enclos since 1989, managing the firm’s preconstruction estimating and engineering in the western region in recent years.

“We are looking to balance our project work load as a strategy to meet our goal of continuous improvement in the services we provide our clients,” says Danke. “We are targeting growth in key market sectors with a project mix ranging in size and complexity. Large and highly complex projects in dense urban environments may be our specialty, but our clients are demanding services with other project types as well, and we intend to accommodate this.”

Reporting to Danke will be John Wolf, promoted to vice president of sales. Wolf’s curtainwall experience prior to Enclos started with Flour City in 1995, followed by Permasteelisa in 2000. He joined Enclos in 2014. Wolf will continue his business development activities focused on the New York City area.
