Bottero Flat Glass Inc. and Wisconsin-based PDS IG have partnered to bring more glass fabrication options to the central United States and the Mountain West.
Bottero officials say the partnership pairs the company’s downstream flat glass processing line, including float cutting tables, laminated cutting systems and edging machines, with a “partner whose roots run deep in insulating glass (IG) manufacturing technology.” They explain that, together, Bottero and PDS IG give fabricators across a 19-state territory in the central U.S. and Mountain West access to solutions across the full production workflow, from cutting and edging through IG assembly.
“Partnering with Bottero’s rich history and strong reputation in the flat glass processing market allows PDS IG to expand its value proposition for customers in this region,” says Michael Rapp, PDS’ president of sales. “Customers will have more access to localized sales and service, allowing them to spend more time focused on serving their customers.”
As part of the partnership, Bottero will stock equipment at the PDS IG facility in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, giving regional fabricators faster access to live inventory and local support. Officials explain that Bottero brings the flat glass processing side, including cutting tables, laminated cutting systems and edging machines. PDS IG brings the IG assembly expertise and the local presence.
