Breakfast and a Movie: Building the Bean
Nov. 5, 8–9 a.m.
Start the morning with breakfast and the world premiere of “Better than Perfect: Building the Bean,” a documentary profiling the ironworkers behind the construction of Chicago’s iconic Cloud Gate sculpture, better known as “The Bean.”
The film offers a behind-the-scenes look at the skill, craftsmanship and teamwork that went into bringing one of Chicago’s most recognizable landmarks to life, providing a unique perspective on the people and trades behind an architectural icon, as told by the glazing contractors and ironworkers who worked on the job.
Admission is included with all registration types except trade show only. Pre-registration is required so the appropriate number of breakfasts can be prepared.
