The Canadian Glass Association (CGA) announced it has joined the Glazing Industry Codes Committee (GICC). The association’s membership is pending until April 12, however, as it has not yet been accepted.

GICC, formed in 1983, teamed with the Glass Association of North America in 2010 as a “stand-alone, semi-autonomous ‘committee,’ open to all qualified companies and other trade associations serving the glass, glazing and fenestration industries and having business in front of the ICC, the I-codes, and NFPA,” according to a release.

The CGA recently sent a letter to members asking for participation in its technical committee, and interested parties can contact for more information.
