The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has updated its COVID-19 checklists for construction employers and employees. The update includes sections on mental health and wellbeing, which recommend that employees recognize factors that can add work- or home-related stress and keep a regular sleep schedule.

The construction employer checklist has sections on hazard assessment; controlling and prevention; promoting social distancing and face masks; cleaning, disinfection and hand hygiene; managing sick workers; providing education, training and communication; mental health and wellbeing considerations; and returning to work after worker exposure to COVID-19.

The construction employee checklist has sections on monitoring and social distancing and face masks. It also includes a section on mental health.
