Glass Expo Midwest™ (GEMS) ’18 is rapidly approaching. GEMS is being hosted at the JW Marriott Indianapolis hotel on November 8-9. Here are a few things that you should know to help make your arrival as smooth as possible.

The hotel address is 10 S West Street Indianapolis, Indiana 46204, roughly 14 miles east of the Indianapolis International Airport (IDN). While there isn’t an airport shuttle service through the hotel, there are a few options available. A bus service has a one way fee of $7, Carey Limo Shared Ride posted a $16 fee for a one way trip – reservation required. Estimated taxi fare shows as $35 in one direction and there are also Uber and Lyft options.

If you are choosing to drive in, here are some helpful driving directions: Airport Expressway to I-70 East to West Street exit 79A. Turn left (north) onto West Street to Washington Street, turn left (west) onto Washington Street and into hotel entrance.

There are a couple of options for parking. Show management has reserved a block of parking spaces in the JW Marriott underground parking garage. This discount rate is available November 6-10. Alternatively, parking is contracted to be available at Victory Field, located across the street from the JW Marriott. The discount spots at Victory Field are available November 7-9, from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.

If you have not yet booked your room at JW Marriott Indianapolis, please call 866/704-6162 to make those arrangements.

The next important thing to consider is when and how to obtain your badge for GEMS. Whether you have already registered, or plan on doing so onsite, the registration desk will be your first stop. Simply follow the signs for Pre-Registration/Will Call or Onsite Registration. Registration will be located at the Griffin Hall South Foyer, right at the entrance to the show floor.

Registration will be open starting at 7 a.m. on Thursday, November 8, until 8 p.m. and will resume Friday, November 9 from 6:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Your badge will cover you for both days of the event and must be worn at all times while on the show floor.
