The North American Contractor Certification (NACC) program added Branford, Conn.-based Cherry Hill Glass to its certified architectural glass and metal contractor ranks.

Cherry Hill acquired certification after going through the ANSI-accredited third-party NACC program, which consists of process requirements regarding safety, quality, competency, ethics and financial stability.

“We found the process to be extremely beneficial in highlighting our strengths and pointing out our weaknesses,” says Cherry Hill president Kevin O’Neill. Cherry Hill has been in business since 1992. “We will be a better company having gone through the process and look forward to the continued evaluations in maintaining our certification.”

The NACC program launched in 2015 and currently has 12 certified companies with several more pending.

“We have several of the top glaziers in North America already certified with many others lining up, and we are getting great interest from the architectural community in wanting to add language in their specifications calling for third party-certified companies,” says NACC program manager Jeff Dalaba.
