ClearVue Technologies has opened its new North American headquarters in San Jose, California, and appointed Charles (Chuck) Mowrey president and CEO of ClearVue North America. Mowrey has served as a ClearVue non-executive board member for the past year. He will transition to his new role while continuing as the board’s executive director.

Mowrey has more than 35 years of experience in the commercial glass and glazing industries, including time as president of Harmon Inc. and most recently as CEO of 8G Solutions. John Pickford was named his successor at 8G Solutions.

“Chuck’s in-depth knowledge of the glass and building markets in North America is one of the most valuable assets he brings to ClearVue as we enter the glazing industry,” says CEO Martin Deil. “Chuck will leverage his considerable experience and professional network to make ClearVuePV Vision Glass technology available to architects, real estate developers, glass fabricators and façade and curtainwall companies in the U.S. and Canada.”

Company officials say ClearVue will make its U.S. debut during the upcoming American Institute of Architects Conference on Architecture and Design on June 5-8, 2024, in Washington, D.C. ClearVue North America will be located at 1625 The Alameda in San Jose.
