Press Glass Expands with New Software Partner, Tempering Furnaces

Poland-based Press Glass SA has selected software specialist FeneTech, creator of FeneVision ERP software, as its new long-term software partner. The company has also purchased two advanced flat tempering furnaces from Glaston.

Software Implementation

The software partnership will begin with the implementation of FeneVision ERP in Press Glass’ commercial glass plants in Poland, followed by installation of the software in the new Press Glass Inc. plant located in North Carolina. After implementation in these plants, FeneVision ERP will be introduced in all Press Glass’ plants, including those in the U.K.

New Machinery

Press Glass’ ordered the FC Series and Jumbo Series tempering lines from Glaston. The lines will be delivered to the company’s production plants in Poland in the second and third quarters of 2019.

This investment will allow Kinestral to expand manufacturing, sales and installation of Halio smart-tinting glass to meet growing global demand, according to the company. … NSG Group has donated Spacia vacuum glazing glass to the City of Ryugasaki, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, as part of the company’s 100th anniversary. Spacia will be installed in the city’s central municipal library (16 sheets/about 290 square feet) and the Sansankan parenting support center (26 sheets/about 398 square feet).
