Gateway Extrusion Welcomes Missouri State Representative

Missouri state Rep. Brad Banderman visited Gateway Extrusions and presented the Union, Mo.-based aluminum fabricator with a Missouri House of Representatives Proclamation to honor the company’s 20th anniversary.

Gateway opened in 2003 with the acquisition of the shuttered Cupples Aluminum Products plant in the Union Industrial Park by Gateway’s parent company, Crystal Window & Door Systems.

“We were very pleased to share the story of Gateway’s growth and success with Banderman and to receive such a special recognition from Missouri’s House of Representatives,” says general manager Brent Robb. “Banderman grew up and lives in the area and greatly appreciates the value manufacturers bring to the region.”

In addition to the proclamation presentation, Banderman toured the company’s production lines and met with employees. Gateway officials add that Robb met with Banderman to discuss additional investments in the Union Industrial Park plant and sales expansion plans into the Southeastern U.S.

Gateway’s recent Union facility expansion included the purchase of existing adjacent industrial buildings and properties and the installation of new 7-inch and 9-inch extrusion presses and a vertical powder coating line.
