The first round of C.R. Laurence Co. Inc. (CRL) technical sales professionals, outside sales representatives and project managers recently received the distinguished Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification through the company’s relation with Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).

The company had developed a training program to further develop its employee’s construction industry knowledge. Passing the exam demonstrates a comprehensive working knowledge of interpreting written construction documents and understanding the roles and relationships of all participants, according to CRL.

“Inadequate knowledge of the arduous construction process can delay and adversely affect a project’s schedule and design team at large,” says Lloyd Talbert, CRL’s president. “Obtaining CDT Certification legitimizes and enhances our personnel’s ability to provide solid product recommendations that meet all performance criteria and tight project deadlines. This latest certification boosts project stakeholders’ confidence in our architectural systems as well as the credentials and competencies of our technical specialists.”
