Cyncly has a new CEO. The software and content solution company announced that Anand Krishnan will assume the position, effective immediately. He replaces David Tombre, who is retiring.

According to company officials, Krishnan joins Cyncly with a “proven track record of leading innovative, customer-focused business-to-business software companies.” He most recently served as CEO of IBS Software and has held executive positions at Canonical and Microsoft.

“I am excited to join Cyncly and build upon the progress the company has achieved under David’s leadership,” says Anand.

Officials say Tombre, who spent three decades at Cyncly and Compusoft, helped shape Cyncly into a strategic digital partner that helps businesses “improve process quality, sales productivity, manufacturing efficiency and user experience from project inspiration to design, sales, manufacturing and installation.

“David’s contributions to Cyncly have been invaluable, and we are grateful for his commitment to a seamless transition,” says Naveen Wadhera, managing director at TA, and Eli Weiss, managing partner at Genstar, both Cyncly board members. “As Cyncly enters a new chapter, we are confident in the strength of the leadership team and are excited to welcome Anand as CEO to propel Cyncly into its next growth stage.”
