Frameless Hardware Company (FHC) will open an 80,000-square-foot Class A distribution center in Lake Zurich, Illinois, scheduled to open in January 2027. The new facility will become FHC’s sixth location and serve as a major Midwest hub for the company.
FHC officials say the new facility will strengthen regional distribution, reduce transit times and provide greater access to customer service and technical expertise.
“FHC was built around a pretty simple idea: take care of the customer,” says Chris Hanstad, FHC president and CEO. “As we’ve grown, we haven’t lost sight of why we’re growing. Glaziers and fabricators need partners who answer the phone, have the products they need, solve problems and understand that their time matters. Chicago gives us another major hub to deliver that experience closer and faster to customers throughout the Midwest.”
With the addition of the Lake Zurich facility, FHC will operate six locations with a national distribution footprint of more than 1 million square feet.
