Glaston Reports Slight Slow Down in Third Quarter of 2018

Glaston’s operating profit is down from last year, signifying a slight slow down which the company expects to pick up going into the fourth quarter.

Glaston’s orders received totaled $24.5 million (EUR 21.7 million) in the third quarter of 2018 from July to September. The company’s total orders received for the year so far is $83.2 mil-lion (EUR 73.6 million), according to Glaston’s third quarter financial report. For the same period last year, the company reported orders received totaling $84.7 million (EUR 74.9 million).

Its net sales totaled $26 million (EUR 23 million) for the third quarter and $82.9 million (EUR 73.3 million) for the year so far. The company’s operating profit from July to September 2018 was approximately $678,928 (EUR 0.6 million). The operating profit from January to September 2018 totaled approximately $2.6 million (EUR 2.3 million). That’s down from $2.9 million (EUR 2.6 million) during the same period last year.
