The Façade Tectonics Institute’s (FTI) 2024 World Congress event returns Oct. 8-10, 2024, at the University of Utah in Salk Lake City.

This peer-reviewed paper conference will address various industry-related topics, including materials, façade technology, embodied carbon, energy performance of façade systems and modeling.

The 2024 Congress keynote speakers are Chris O’Hara from StudioNYL in Boulder, Colorado, and Geoffrey Thün, a professor of Architecture at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

FTI officials say O’Hara is known for his collaborative approach with design teams. Thün is engaged in research ranging from high-performance buildings to responsive and kinetic building envelopes.
