GED Integrated Solutions announced that Joe Shaheen will retire at the end of September after 20 years of service. Shaheen rejoined GED in 2011 as vice president of sales after a stint at Arrow Electronics. He first joined GED in 2004 as a regional sales manager, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Company officials expressed their appreciation for Shaheen in a statement, noting that he “has been a tremendous teammate, leading the commercial team to record success, and we wish him the absolute best in retirement.”
To fill Shaheen’s role, GED added Joe Borak as vice president of sales and marketing. Borak has more than 25 years of experience leading sales, marketing and customer success across the building products, industrial adhesives, sealants and OEM manufacturing sectors. Borak most recently served as senior vice president of sales and customer operations for Novagard, where he had been since 2008.
