About the Speaker

Carl Tompkins, national flat glass sales manager, Sika Corp. Since his 1976 graduation from Portland State University, with a degree in political science and a minor in business, Tompkins has participated in the glass industry, specializing in the subjects of business management and market development. He served 10 years with PPG Industries, a Fortune 500 company based in Pittsburgh,  as manager of market development for the automotive glass division. In 1995, he joined the Sika Corp., an international manufacturer of specialty sealants and construction products based out of Zurich, Switzerland, and served as global marketing resource manager, providing leadership and training on building successful business models for Sika divisions around the world.
