For the sixth time in seven years, Giroux Glass Inc. has been named one of the “Best Places to Work in Los Angeles” by the Los Angeles Business Journal and Best Companies Group. Giroux previously earned the honor in 2014, 2012, 2011, 2010 and 2009.

This survey and awards program, now in its ninth year, “was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Los Angeles, benefiting the county’s economy, workforce and businesses,” according to a release from Giroux.

The list is made up of 100 companies.

“I think our unique culture is an important factor in our earning a spot on this coveted list,” says Nataline Lomedico, president and CEO of Giroux. “We have a culture of ownership, and our employees have a caring involvement with Giroux. We have a passion for making the company not only successful, but also for making it a fun place to work. We’re passionate about what we do here, and that translates into many aspects of our workplace, both in the field and in the office.”

Companies from across the county entered the two-part survey process. The first part, worth approximately 25 percent of the evaluation, consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part, worth approximately 75 percent of the evaluation, consisted of an anonymous employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Los Angeles, analyzed the data and determined the final rankings.

The actual rankings will be revealed at a special event on August 19.
