Several people were injured in Monticello, N.Y., on Friday after a glass wall collapsed in the food court at the Resorts World Catskills Casino. Local authorities at the time declared the event a mass casualty incident, reports the Mid Hudson News.

The publication adds that a medivac helicopter was called to transport one person who was seriously injured to the hospital. Several others were transported to the hospital via ambulance. No deaths were reported.

“The safety and security of our guests and staff is our top priority,” Resorts World spokesman Dan Bank told the Mid Hudson News. “We are coordinating with local agencies and the affected area will be closed as we gather more information. We are extremely grateful to the first responders who quickly arrived on the scene.”
