Glasswerks has added Diamon-Fusion International’s (DFI) FuseCube Express glass coating machine to its Los Angeles-based production facility. The move allows Glasswerks to standardize the protective coating application on multiple glass lines.

Vice president Robert Mastrapa says the coating will be applied to its shower doors and glass railings lineup.

“Partnering with the team at DFI on this new initiative allows Glasswerks to differentiate its product offering,” says Mastrapa. “The Diamon-Fusion coating applied through the FuseCube Express provides consistent coverage, double the protection, and maximum value–all of which are value-added benefits we can pass to our customers.”

DFI’s protective coating chemically bonds to glass fillings, which results in an invisible barrier that reduces cleaning times and prevents stains. The coating has no cure time, seals the glass surface and can be applied via automated machinery.
