The Houston Area Glass Association (HAGA) has announced its four 2020 scholarship recipients. The annual scholarship is available to any high school senior or college student referred by a HAGA member. The applicants are judged on a 350-word essay, volunteerism, and school transcripts.

Weston Ozment, son of HAGA member and past president, David Ozment with Binswanger, is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship. He attends University of Houston with an expected graduation date of 2021. Weston is pursuing a finance/business degree.

Truman Bexley, referred by Scott Theut of Theut Glass, is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship. He plans to pursue a degree in kinesiology at Sam Houston State University.

Katherine Ramirez, referred by Jimmy Ramirez of Lonestar Glass, is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship. She plans to pursue a degree in sports management at Texas Tech University.

Marley Gilmore, referred by Terri Gilmore of A3 Glass Fabricators, is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship. Gilmore plans to pursue a degree in healthcare at Texas State University.
