The Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance (IGMA) rescheduled its IG Fabricator Workshop event, which will now take place May 3-5 in Plano, Texas, at the Intertek (ATI) Testing Facilities.

“There are two major trends affecting the fenestration industry today,” says Margaret Webb, IGMA’s executive director. “The first trend is major turnover in plant personnel as baby boomers retire, taking with them a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fabrication of insulating glass just when that expertise is needed the most. Secondly, this is going on at a time when architects and engineers are upping the game on building envelope design with unusual aesthetics, improved thermal performance. This workshop is taught by industry experts who know their stuff and are willing to share their expertise and knowledge with Gen X, Gen Y and Millennials, ensuring that this expertise gets passed on.”

Registration for this three-day event is $950 for the first attendee, and 10 percent off ($855) for each additional attendee from the same company.
