Ironbridge, a private equity firm that acquired a controlling interest in Walker Glass Company in 2022, purchased a majority share of Gardner with input from Walker officials.

Ironbridge Equity Partners has added another glass company to its portfolio after it acquired a controlling interest in North Carolina-based Gardner Glass Products. Officials say Ironbridge, a private equity firm that acquired a controlling interest in Walker Glass Company in 2022, purchased a majority share of Gardner with input from Walker officials.

“Our combined market leadership positions, diverse geographic locations and complimentary offerings will fuel exceptional growth for both firms in coming years,” says Walker CEO Lee Harrison.

Gardner operates manufacturing facilities in North Carolina and Texas and a distribution location in Indiana. It was founded in 1962 as a mirror manufacturer. Its offerings now include various decorative glass products under the Dreamwalls brand.

Officials say Walker and Gardner will operate as independent entities.

“The entire team at Gardner is thrilled to work with Ironbridge and Walker on our future growth objectives,” says president Randy Brooks. “We see tremendous synergies and growth opportunities for both organizations.”
