Joe Descheemaeker and Steve Neff have joined Keystone Certifications Inc. (KCI) as senior certification technician and certification technician, respectively, while Aaron Shultz is a new certification engineer-in-training.

Descheemaeker will be responsible for performing National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) validations. His background includes materials testing per ASTM, AAMA and ANSI standards, as well as 11 years of direct NFRC simulation experience at Architectural Testing Inc.

Shultz will perform certification review of structural and impact products in addition to NFRC validations. He has 12 years of experience in the project management and structural testing of windows and doors.

Neff will be responsible for performing Energy Star validations for fenestration and non-fenestration products in KCI’s StarGuard program, in addition to NFRC validations. His background includes five years of structural system testing, as well as blast and ballistic testing of windows and doors.

“These additions will enhance Keystone’s service capabilities, as well as aid our customers with the comprehensive simulating, testing and overall validation and certification processes necessary to gain product approval and market access,” says KCI validation manager Jon Martini.
