Marvin has named Robert Conchola as its director of operations for its forthcoming manufacturing plant in Kansas City, Kansas. Conchola will oversee and guide Marvin’s daily operations in Kansas City and will soon begin building the team that will open the facility.

Conchola, who was born and raised in Kansas City, has more than 25 years of manufacturing experience, most recently as a plant manager for Advanced Drainage Systems.

“Robert’s passion for manufacturing and his commitment to excellence is an ideal alignment with Marvin’s core values, and we look forward to his leadership as Marvin begins to operate in the region,” says president Darrin Peterson. “Robert’s extensive experience and connection to Kansas City are great assets for Marvin and our new facility.”

Company officials report that “considerable progress” has been made on the 400,000-square-foot facility in the Scannell 435 Logistics Center in Wyandotte County. Construction will be completed next year. Marvin anticipates growing to a 600-person workforce in 2028.

“I am honored to join Marvin and to be part of a company that truly values quality, innovation, and giving back to the community,” says Conchola. “I look forward to working with the talented team to establish our presence in Kansas City and contribute to the company’s overall growth.”

With the expansion to Kansas City, Marvin will operate in 19 cities across North America.
