Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope® Acquires Certain Assets of Graham Architectural Products

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope® (OBE), a CRH company, acquired certain assets and liabilities of Graham Architectural Products Co., based in York, Pa. Graham is a nationally recognized pioneer in the fenestration industry, serving the Midwest and Northeast regions of the U.S.

“The Graham name has been synonymous with high quality and innovation for more than 50 years and we look to build on their great reputation,” says Liz Haggerty, president of OBE. “This acquisition will strengthen our product portfolio and enhance our access to new markets while improving our competitive advantage as a single-source glazing systems solutions provider, further allowing us be a better strategic partner to our customers in the building façade value chain.”

Graham Architectural Products began manufacturing window tooling products in 1964 and was assembling window units on a contract basis by 1970. The company began manufacturing windows in 1972, and is now a manufacturer of engineered, commercial, window, door and window wall systems specializing in energy efficient, historical, blast protection and high-performance products and solutions. According to OBE this is a strong complement to its existing product offerings.

Banner Solutions Acquires Wholesale Division of Builders’ Hardware & Supply

Banner Solutions, a wholesaler of security opening hardware products—backed by private equity firm Tailwind Capital—has acquired the wholesale division of Builders’ Hardware & Supply Company based in Seattle.

“Builders’ Hardware has built a tremendous reputation for solving their customers’ problems,” says Brendan Deely, president and CEO of Banner Solutions. “This focus aligns perfectly with Banner Solutions’ commitment to going above and beyond to deliver solutions.”

“For six decades, Builders’ Hardware has served customers as a showroom, contract hardware distributor and a wholesaler,” adds Aaron Davis, vice president of the wholesale division at Builders’ Hardware, who will remain in his current role. “In moving our wholesale business to the Banner Solutions platform, we better align our services to deliver more for our customers.
