In Illinois: Clover Architectural of Palos Heights Acquires American Custom Metal of New Lenox

Clover Architectural Products has acquired American Custom Metal Corp., an architectural metal fabricator based in New Lenox, Ill. The new entity will be known as American Custom Fabrication and will remain a separate company from Clover. Bill Anicich, American Custom’s owner, will continue to serve as general manager. “We are thrilled to be able to welcome American Custom to the Clover family,” says Tom O’Malley, Clover’s managing partner. “Anicich and his team have produced amazing work over the years, and we are excited to announce he is staying on board. His reputation is phenomenal, and his continued presence with the company will help our clients feel comfortable that things will remain the same.”

American Custom Fabrication will provide convection covers, aluminum linear bar grilles, cladded doors and frames, break metal and metal fabrication for the commercial, display and retail sectors.

Strybuc Industries Acquires AA Hulse and Son Distributors

Strybuc Industries has acquired Hialeah, Fla.- based AA Hulse and Son Distributors. Paul Pierangeli, vice president of marketing and sales, says the move strengthens Strybuc’s footprint in the southeastern corner of the U.S.

Pierangeli adds that AA Hulse and Son Distributors’ former owner, Helen Ovdijev, will join Strybuc as an account manager in its sales department.

“Strybuc looks forward to working with Helen, who will work to quickly transfer open quotes and inventory and take care of any other needs for servicing customers,” says Pierangeli.

Briefly

LiteSentry and SoftSolutions are now under common ownership of Strainoptics, a manufacturer of non-contact, non-destructive stress measurement instrumentation for the glass and plastics industries.
