QMI Security Solutions Invests in Riot Glass and Campbell Corp.

QMI Security Solutions, along with Management and Prospect Partners, has closed on its investment of Riot Glass Inc. and Campbell Corp. The transaction unites QMI security shutter products with the Riot Glass security glass and framing systems.

Riot Glass is a manufacturer of retrofit security glass and door systems and Campbell Corp. is a C-17 licensed glazing contractor, as well as one of the largest dealers of Riot Glass, 3M Window Films, and other retrofit products in California. QMI is a security shutter manufacturer.

Campbell will continue as CEO of both Riot Glass and Campbell Corp. He will also be a member of QMI’s senior executive team.

ASSA ABLOY Acquires Caldwell

Hardware company ASSA ABLOY has acquired Caldwell, a manufacturer of fenestration hardware for window manufacturers. “I am very pleased to welcome Caldwell into the ASSA ABLOY Group (AAG). This acquisition delivers on our strategy to add complementary products and solutions to our core business,” says Nico Delvaux, AAG president and CEO.

“Caldwell is an excellent addition to the Pacific and Northeast Asia Division and provides complimentary growth opportunities. Patriot Armor Purchases Assets of O’Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt

Patriot Armor, headquartered in Lenox Dale, Mass., purchased the glass fabricating assets from O’Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Company LLC (O’Gara). Patriot Armor secured a long-term lease for the former O’Gara glass plant in Cincinnati, Ohio, and will began operations in mid-June 2022 with many of the former O’Gara employees joining the team.

Patriot Armor also purchased a large autoclave from the recent XPER auction in Pittsburgh. The company says its investment in equipment and expansion with the new facility further strengthens its position in the market and demonstrates its commitment to meeting the growing needs of its customers. According to the company, the expansion will more than double its manufacturing capacity.
