Wood’s Powr-Grip

Keith Wood, past president and chairman of Wood’s Powr-Grip in Laurel, Mont., passed away on October 30, 2022. While Wood began his career in journalism, he soon moved into his family’s growing business. His father, Howard, asked him to return to Wolf Point, Mont., to help run the company in 1970 and later to become president. Throughout his life, Wood was active and involved in the glass and glazing industry. In the 1970s, he participated in numerous conventions, trade shows and more. When the regional Glass Expos started in Chicago in 1993, Wood and his wife, Faye, attended those, too. The two often traveled to Germany for the international glasstec shows as well.

Wood is survived by his wife Faye, and their five children: Lee Ann Wood, of Park City; Bryan (Lou Ann) Wood, of Laurel; Barry (Dayana) Wood, of Billings; Brad (Lesley) Wood, of Laurel; and Lisa (Mark) Wood-Miranda, of Meridian, Idaho. He is also survived by his sister, Karen Workman, of Anchorage, Alaska, 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
