Chillum Metal Works

Bethann “Beth” Paolucci, 67, of Stevensville, Md., passed away on Aug. 3, 2023. Paolucci co-owned Chillum Metal Works in Bladensburg, Md., with her husband, Bill, who currently is the president of the Mid-Atlantic Glass Association. The Paoluccis were married for 45 years at the time of her death. She is survived by Bill, two sons, a daughter, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.


Frameless Hardware Company

George Heflin has been named Frameless Hardware Company’s (FHC) vice president of sales for the Southwest Texas region. Heflin has more than 40 years of experience in the glass industry, say officials. He is responsible for developing and nurturing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and promoting FHC’s glass and
glazing products. FHC also appointed Doug DeRusha as vice president of sales for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. DeRusha assumed the role following time as sales
director for C.R. Laurence, where he spent 39 years. He will lead sales efforts across the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic regions, growing the FHC footprint and brand. He has
worked on several notable projects throughout his career, including One World Trade Center, Boston Seaport District, Hudson Yards and Penn Station.

Trucent Industrial Solutions

Trucent Industrial Solutions has appointed Michael Ondrus as its global key account manager, Brittle Materials. Ondrus brings more than 20 years of experience across the
entire glass chain to the role. He will work to advance Trucent’s presence in the brittle materials fabrication market, encompassing glass and adjacent sectors worldwide.

New Hires

Laminators Inc.

Anthony Drummond is Laminators Inc.’s newest regional sales manager for the metro New York region. Drummond brings more than 15 years of experience in various levels of sales and management to the role. He most recently was the national technical and sales support manager for Koroseal Interior Products Group. In his new role, Drummond performs field promotional work and relationship management to sell and develop new business.

Giroux Glass

Giroux Glass has named Jeffrey Heymann as senior director of major projects. Heymann has more than 35 years of experience in the exterior façade industry. His background encompasses sales, engineering, manufacturing, estimating, project management and field

Heymann arrives from MiTek-Benson, where he held senior positions for more than
20 years. During that time, officials say he honed his strategic planning and sales management skills in the curtainwall and façade cladding industry.

Heymann has worked on various notable projects throughout his career. These include
the Freedom Tower, Tower Four, 15 Central Park West and Manhattan West.


Unicel Architectural Corp.

After six years with the company, Jason Forster is now the U.S. national sales manager for Unicel Architectural Corp. Unicel also hired Mariola Najmi as its U.S. regional sales manager covering California, Nevada and Arizona. Additionally, Greg Kirkman joined the company as regional sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic region. Sergiy Kholodov was also named technical sales representative for the timber curtainwall division.


Tubelite has promoted Michael Ross to regional sales manager for the Southeast region. Ross joined the company in 2018. In his most recent role, he oversaw work in
Alabama and Georgia. His new coverage area includes Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina,
South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Kentucky and Tennessee. He and his team will
work with glazing contractors and architectural teams to provide assistance with storefronts, curtainwall, entrances and daylight control systems.
