“I am delighted to join this committed group of chief procurement officers from peer companies and to collectively drive the future direction of sustainability in global supply chains,” says NSG procurement officer John Wilgar. “By joining the League of Champions, we gain access to best practices, research, benchmarking and a network of experts to help shape NSG’s strategy on sustainable supply chains. This step further emphasizes NSG’s commitment to addressing climate change and improving our world.”

SPP provides tools and knowledge that allow procurement professionals to embed sustainability into their roles in whatever sector they operate. The SPP’s League of Champions helps steer the movement’s direction, empowering procurement leaders and their organizations to engage better and build capability on sustainability within their procurement functions.

In addition to joining the League of Champions, NSG has agreed to Science Based Targets for CO2 emissions reduction with a goal to reduce carbon emissions by 30% by the year 2030.
