On Thursday, February 25, 2021, Andrew Yang, New York City Mayoral candidate and former presidential candidate, visited and toured the headquarters and main production facility of national manufacturer Crystal Window & Door Systems, located in Queens, N.Y. Yang viewed the operations of Crystal’s 370-employee, 205,000-square-foot facility.

During conversations with Crystal chairperson Thomas Chen and president Steve Chen, the candidate learned about the company’s history and economic and philanthropic contributions to New York City, according to the company.

“While we do not endorse any specific candidates, it was great to meet with Mr. Yang to familiarize him with the Crystal success story and the business challenges a major New York City manufacturer and employer faces,” says Steve Chen. “The next mayor of New York City will also face many challenges, and the business and manufacturing communities here must be key partners in keeping New York the great city it is.”

Yang’s visit was part of his “NY Recovery Week” five-borough tour of businesses throughout the city.
