Tom O’Malley, formerly of Doralco, along with business-minded partners, started a new company, Clover Architectural Products. Clover will focus on selling aluminum sunshades and lightshelves, grilles, stainless steel cladding and will offer a full line of all-glass door entrance products. The company also can provide custom steel fabrication. The company is selling its products throughout the U.S. from its headquarters just outside Chicago.

According to the announcement, O’Malley is using his almost two decades of industry experience to guide the company through the glass and glazing world.

“This is truly an exciting time for me, my family and my partners,” says O’Malley. “We are confident that we will be able to serve the industry with the products and performance they need and demand.”

Joining as partner in the company is Jim Stremplewski, who brings 27 years of operations, production and estimation knowledge. Stremplewski has an extensive background in production management and quality control and, according to the announcement, will ensure that all Clover products are delivered with the quality the customer expects and deserves. Ed Kearney is also a partner and focuses on the day-to-day side of the business. He has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry, where he helped companies grow and will use that knowledge to help Clover meet its full potential. Warren Hagey will handle all aspects of estimation, as he did for eight years at Doralco. According to the announcement, Hagey is an analytical thinker and will use those skills to help design and bid jobs.

O’Malley says the team at Clover understands that the road to success is building strong partnerships with customers, architects and vendors.

“In just the short time of pulling this together, the support I’ve received has been humbling. I am truly grateful for that and look forward to the challenges ahead,” O’Malley adds.
