PROJECT OF THE MONTH

Glasshape Creates Printed, Bent Glass Staircase for SWAU

https://bit.ly/2U9qsK1

The main lobby of the Southwestern Adventist University’s Larry R. Moore Nursing and Administration building features a circular staircase that adds visual impact to an impressive stone-clad and fully glazed entrance. Located southwest of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area, the project was designed by the BECK Group and constructed by Steele & Freeman.

Glasshape’s involvement included the digital site measure, design, manufacture and supply of ceramic printed, bent and tempered safety glass. It worked with VIVA Railings, which was contracted to manufacture and install the circular staircase using its own SHOE Structural Curved Glass Railing System
