PPG announced multiple executive personnel changes this week. Among the appointments, the company named Jean-Marie Greindl senior vice president of global architectural coatings and president of PPG Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Screen Shot 2016-01-26 at 1.22.22 PMHe will cover all architectural coatings activities in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions as well as the U.S. and Canada, and will oversee business in the EMEA region. He is currently vice president, automotive coatings, EMEA, and president, PPG EMEA.

Ram Vadlamannati will become senior vice president, protective and marine coatings and corporate development, and will continue to oversee the corporate information technology function in addition to assuming oversight of PPG’s strategic planning and corporate development function. Vadlamannati is currently vice president, architectural coatings, EMEA.

Tim Knavish, currently PPG vice president of global protective and marine coatings, was named senior vice president of automotive coatings, He will continue to oversee the company’s Latin America operations and its corporate environment, health and safety function.

PPG also announced Cindy Niekamp, current senior vice president of automotive coatings, will retire effective March 1.
