Quikserv and United States Bullet Proofing (USBP) announced a new joint venture, Specialty Fenestration Group (SFG). The new company will provide high-security aluminum doors, windows, louvers and transaction systems for the security, glazing and architectural community.

Quikserv and USBP, a provider of window and wall systems, and blast, ballistic and forced-entry doors, will continue to operate as independent brands. Quikserv acquired USBP in June 2021.

“The creation of SFG allows us to closely integrate our companies under one powerhouse,” says Jason Epps, CEO of SFG. “This will allow us to fortify our market position, accelerate and expand our domestic and international growth and allow us to deliver more value from the back to the front end of our businesses for the benefit of our customers.”

Epps will remain with Quikserv, a manufacturer of transaction windows, ticket windows and security transaction solutions, in addition to his new title at SFG. Along with Epps, Lisa Csikos will be SFG’s chief financial officer, Hector Vallejo will be chief revenue officer and Chris Cordle will be chief operating officer. USBP’s Ken Sampson will remain as president.

SFG will share its headquarters with Quikserv in Houston, and USBP will continue to operate in its office and manufacturing facility in Upper Marlboro, Md.
