Glass Expo Rocky Mountain™ ’19 Brings Education, Networking to Colorado

Glass Expo Rocky Mountain™ ’19 is headed to the Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver in Aurora, Colo. (suburban Denver), January 24-25, 2019. Attendees can expect two days filled with educational seminars and networking opportunities designed for the glass and glazing industry.

Educational Program

Educational seminars will run from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, beginning with the welcome and regional economic update by Nick St. Denis, director of research for Key Media & Research (KMR), parent company of USGlass magazine. He will be followed by Kuraray marketing manager Ron Hull’s seminar on “Designing Safer Glass Railings with Laminated Glass (1 AIA HSW LU), which will delve into new standards and building code requirements ad-dressing post-breakage performance of glass for railings. Dustin Anderson, Anderson Glass owner and glass consultant on HGTV’s Fixer Upper, will provide tips on how to find quality workers, and Consulting Collaborative CEO Richard Voreis will explain the latest trends in the glass and glazing industry to finish out the day.

The educational program runs from 8 to 10 a.m. on Friday, January 25, starting with insights into how to hire and sell to millennials with® manager Daniel Snow and KMR account executive Casey Flores. The final seminar, “C-Suite Changes Coming in the Contract Glazing Industry,” will open glazing contractors’ eyes to global trends that could impact their business. This vital seminar will be led by Schüco president Attila Arian and Keytech North America president Lyle Hill.


Attendees will hear from guest speaker and body language expert Janine Driver during her “You Say More Than You Think” keynote speech from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Thursday, January 24. Driver is a popular media guest, with appearances on shows including The Dr. Oz Show, Anderson Cooper, NBC’s TODAY and Weekend TODAY, FOX News and CNN’s Larry King Live. She will teach attendees the essential methodologies on reading and using body language to influence decisions and perceptions.
