Networking Opportunities Abound at Glass TEXpo™ ’20 in San Antonio

Glass TEXpo™ ’20 will offer several networking opportunities when it heads to San Antonio’s Henry B. González Convention Center, May 1-2, 2020. The two-day event will include a pub crawl, golf tournament and cocktail party.

2nd Annual Pub Crawl

During the 2nd Annual Glass TEXpo Pub Crawl, attendees have the chance to network with industry peers and connect with new colleagues as they make their way around historic San Antonio.

Tickets are $30 each. The event is co-sponsored by the Texas Glass Association (TGA) Young Professionals and will take place 7:30-9:30 p.m. on Friday, May 1.

3rd Annual TGA Jerry Wright Memorial Golf Tournament

The TGA will host an afternoon of golf and networking as it honors Texas glass industry legend Jerry Wright. The event will take place Thursday, April 30 at the SilverHorn Golf Club with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.

Welcoming Cocktail Party

After a day of educational seminars and networking on the show floor, attendees can take a moment to relax and enjoy food and beverages on the Glass TEXpo show floor during the Welcoming Cocktail Party. It will take place from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, May 1.

TGA Awards Lunch

The TGA will present its annual awards and honors at the TGA Awards Lunch from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The awards will be followed by guest speaker and body language expert Janine Driver, back by popular demand. Driver is a popular media guest, with appearances on Dr. Oz Show, Anderson Cooper, NBC’s TODAY, and NBC’s Weekend TODAY, Fox News and CNN’s Larry King Live.

Luncheon tickets must be reserved in advance and include lunch, a spot at the awards ceremony and Driver’s session. Full registrants may also attend Driver’s presentation.

BEC Conference Heads to Nashville

The 24th annual Building Envelope Contractors (BEC) Conference, organized by the National Glass Association, will be held in Nashville, Tenn., for the first time, March 1-3, 2020 at the JW Marriott. This year’s event theme is “Glazing 2020: Advanced. Innovative.” Sessions will focus on the state of the industry, building information modeling,  understanding how architects think, bird-friendly glazing and more.
