Glass Expo VE and GlassCon Global VE Provide Virtual Networking and Education

GlassCon Global® and USGlass magazine are producing a new virtual event servicing the architectural glass, metal and fenestration industries, GlassCon Global VE-Glass Expo VE. The new event combines the popular GlassCon Global educational program with the ever popular Glass Expos educational series—all in one virtual event, September 9-10, 2020. It is co-sponsored by the Finishing Contractors Association International, USGlass magazine and [DWM] magazine.

Partners supporting GlassCon Global VE-Glass Expo VE will have virtual booth spaces where they will be able to engage with attendees through live chat functions. Exhibiting companies also have the option of becoming show partners with five partnership levels available.

The virtual booth spaces will act as a trade show floor, giving attendees access to exhibitors’ product information and resources as well as real-time conversations with company representatives. Networking lounges, resource centers and other interactive avenues are also available for participants to connect.

The event will feature several educational seminars focused on topical glass industry information for glaziers, fabricators and architects. In addition to the ground-breaking educational seminars and interactive virtual spaces, the event will also offer several additional activities for socializing and networking, including the Run for Glass VE 5K, which is open to both runners and walkers.

The run for Glass VE 5K is an optional event in which participants may run or walk and will receive an authentic race medal, t-shirt and downloadable race bib. Run for Glass VE requires a separate registration and costs $35. All profits from the Run for Glass VE 5K will benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

In addition to the virtual 5K, several other virtual networking activities are planned. These include a virtual wine tasting the evening of September 9 with the industry’s very own sommelier, Chris Fronsoe with DeaMor, and morning yoga and meditation, which is accessible through the main auditorium on the morning of September 10 from 9-9:45 a.m., among others.

Admission to GlassCon Global-Glass Expo VE is free for all USGlass magazine subscribers. Just register using the promo code “USGM.”
